Audio not playing in new project

Hi,

I am using Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 6.0 and when I create a new project and add an audio file (.wav) to it, there is no audio when I play the project. The audio file is just file. I have other Vegas projects with audio & video that work just fine. This project was created empty and the audio file was the first file added. I'm sure it's something simple but it's frustration.

Any ideas?

You don't have the track Muted, by chance?

I wished it were that simple but no the track is not muted. It just won't play, i.e., the program starts but no audio, even though the .wav file is present and is OK.

Update - I installed version 6.0b and the problem went away. Imagine that!
