Audio not synced on rendered video

Hello!

First time here and first time using Vegas Pro 15. I recorded a video stream using OBS saved in FLV format from a website. I found out that VP15 does not accept FLV so I found a tutorial converting FLVs to MP4 using VLC. Video converted is synced after checking.

Now, imported to VP15 Build 311, I need to cut out a certain part of the video so I used the Pan/Crop fx. Trimmed a small part of the beginning and faded it in. It's a 1080p recording so I set the project to 720 because of the crop so it wouldn't stretch out.

I rendered the video using MAGIX AVC/ACC > Internet HD 720p 29.97 fps Intel QSV (I have an i5 Haswell and no GPU, I know:D) with variable bitrate 4-2M bps and when I played the video, the audio is out of sync. I checked the recorded video but everything is synced.

What could have caused this?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Ron

The video is sometimes out of sync as soon as I put in on VP15 and sometimes it is not. Why is that?

I tried duplicating the audio and nudged the duplicated audio to match with the video. But when I preview it, it is now flickering wildly. It takes more than an hour of rendering before I see the result and it's very frustrating.
