Audio on/off in Preview, Timeline, and Render

Using VMS HD-Pl 10
When I preview a video, I get bursts of audio and then silence evenly spaced - such as audio...nothing...audio...nothing...audio...nothing...audio...nothing for the entire clip. The clip imports into the timeline WITH the gaps...what's the deal here?
Screenshot: http://www.uzda4ce.com/vms/vmsproblem.jpg
Raw video file: http://www.uzda4ce.com/vms/HDV_0238.MP4

Camera: Samsung HMX H-200
Video: H.264 (MPEG-4.AVC)
Audio: AAC

VMS 10 shows video information as: 1080x720x12 59.940fps
AVC Audio 48KHz in AAC

VMS 9 shows video as: 1080x720x32 100fps (?!?!!) - same audio as above

Audio plays fine in VMS 9, but the video is choppy. Everything renders fine in 9, though, and the timeline shows an intact audio waveform.

Help?

**Edit - System information:
Windows 7
Intel i3
4Gb Ram
Tried importing video from external HD, SD card, and from HD directly - all the same

Thanks for your insight and forethought by providing some links.
Unfortunately, your video link returns a 404 not found error on my browser, so we cannot look at it on our own installations.

That being said, there are known issues with Samsung video that are being worked on by the Sony development team.

BTW, thanks for a thoughtful (rather than hostile) post. It is appreciated by your peers.

Video should be there now

Previews and renders fine in Vegas Pro 8, which is essentially the same engine.
No audio dropouts as you are experiencing.
Project frame rate is incorrectly reported as 100p, should be 59.940p.

Wish I could help further, maybe is a bug?

Thanks for the input. Is there any idea when Sony will patch that problem, or do I have to wait for VMS 11, like I had been reading in some other threads?

I have run into this same issue. Is there any known work around for those of us using Vegas Pro 9?
