Audio out of sync after render Sony Vegas 15 pro

Hello everyone, I have a question about audio desync. I am relatively new to Sony Vegas 15 pro so bare with me. I recently did some video editing. I made sure the project, media, and render setting were matched correctly. I replayed the video and the audio sounded great. However, when I rendered the video. There were two clips that the audio was slightly out of sync. After experimenting with it. I have come to realize this only happens when I do a full video render but If I just render those two clips separately the audio is fine and I am rendering under Magix avc/aac.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I may correct this?

What is "slightly", a frame or a few milliseconds? Is there audio FX processing on the event(s), track(s), bus(s)? Is the audio embedded in the picture file or separate and what format i.e., PCM, MP3, AAC, other?

It's approx. 5 seconds on each clip. The audio is not embedded. It is a separate track and the format is AAC

There is not audio FX processing.

Wow.. Five seconds! To rule out the Magix encoder, does the same behavior happen when you render to another file type, MXF or AVI for instance? How about with a different AVC encoder? VP15 should have the Sony and MainConcept AVC encoders. Have you tried rendering the audio separately.. or rendering the problematic audio events to a new track as a PCM .wav file? ("Tools> Render to new track") There are other work-arounds, but that does not solve the problem which should not be happening.

First match all your source audio clips to the same sample rate as needed in the output file. I mean if you want to render an mp4 file make sure all of your source clips are 48khz sample rate not 44.1 or something else.

I tried the MainConcept encoder and everything is working fine now.

Unlike some other NLEs, Vegas Pro can have different sample rate audio files even on the same track, They should playback and render to any supported format without issue.
