Audio out of sync with video on Vegas 3

Hi,

I have vegas 3.0c build 138, which I believe is the latest update...

Ever since I have installed the latest updates (verses the version I first purchaced), my audio on my movies is out of sync.

The more cuts and clips I do, the more it gets out of sync...

Anybody know what is going on?

It worked fine before. I pull in my digital video from my camcorder and have always edited them the same way, but after this update, it messes up.

It acts like it takes off a 1/10th of a second for each clip or something like that.

By the time the video is at the end, it is like watching an old Japanese movie from years back!

Any help would be appreciated. I couldn't find it in the forum areas, there were so many it was hard to nail it down and my searches didn't bring anything up either.

Thanks...

Haven't experienced your particular prob., but for what it's worth, a while back had some problems with captured avi files - the audio timing was off so if you looked at each individual clip you'd see the audio extending beyond the end of the video. CNTRL dragging the audio track (time compressing) so they ended at the same time took care of it.

I haven't an idea if you're getting something similar, but might want to give a look.

Hello everybody!
A few days before I posted similar problem in Vegas Video topics. Mikkie was kind to try to help me too. So I don't know the answere, but on the same machine I installed the same Windows XP to a paralell partition, new Vegas and everything is perfect, no sync problem. It seems that either Windows has a "corruption", makes this mistake, or some other Mpeg related program disturbed Vegas in mpeg rendering. I know that the Mainconcept plugin is an independent internal plugin, but in this moment I don't see any other answere. In the "old windows there are some other DVD authoring, and video editing programs, so not easy to find out which disturbes Vegas. If I found out something, I will write again. Greetings, Tibor
