First question would then be...are you printing to the same tape? Could the tape have a problem in that spot?

Have you rendered the file prior to printing? Or are you doing a prerender each time and trying to print from that?

I have used a different tape each time(3 times).
I am using the print to tape command each time.
the audio is fine off the hard drive.
but has the glitch when printing to tape.
thanks for the quick response.
any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

I had something similar one time, I think I ended up copying the project and pasting it to a new instance of Vegas.

Try rendering the project and playing the new file ,see if the dropout is there.if not print the new file.

Good luck

Not sure what you mean by pasting to a new instance of Vegas.
I am new to Vegas, and I must say that the people on this forum
are the most helpful and professional people I have had the pleasure to converse with. I have been an editor for over 20 years.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Start Vegas a second time without closing the current Vegas version (i.e. two instances of Vegas will be open and running at the same time). Use the clipboard function to copy the project from the earlier version to the one just opened. Hope that helps.
