Audio Question

Transfered audio and video via firewire to vegas.
shot with xl1s. Camera mic audio on audio 1 L&R.
Have Cannon 4ch. adaptor into audio 2, Had wireless mic into
channel 1 on adaptor left channel only.
I see and hear wireless mic audio when playing back on camera seperate from camera mic. When transfered to vegas wireless mic audio is mixed with camera mic.
How can I seperate the two.

Ctl drag the audio track down to a new track to make a copy of it.
On one track R Click to get to Channels, select Left only
Do the opposite on other track.
Now you can mix, mute or whatever each track as needed etc.

i have tried this and it seperates L&R on ch.1.(cam mic audio)
i also have audio on ch.2 L only. (wireless mic)
cannot seperate channel 1 from channel 2

So you recorded 2 stereo channels, is that right?

Not quite following, but to capture all four channels available on the XL1 you will need to use capture software such as Scenalyser (there's a free trial). Vegas only captures the two mic channels.
