I suppose I should know this, but I'm at a loss to explain to myself why and whether I should render a DVD video project with 44.1KHz or 48 KHz audio. Vegas Video apparently defaults to 48 KHz and there is probably some good reason for this. So can anyone tell me what is the "standard" (like 44.1 KHz is the Red Book standard for CD audio)? Does DVD (video) have a "Blue book" standard or something for audio?
