I just bought Vegas + DVD.

Question: I have noticed that you can detect a slight audible "joint"/fraction-of-a-skip between scenes sometimes when replayed on the time line. A rendered MPG2 does retain these audio imperfections.

Is this "normal?" A "known issue?"

I am capturing using Scenalzer software. I have tried AVI type 1, 2, etc settings. I am using Pinnacle AVDV hardware. I plan on going with a Canopus AVDV-100, but not today... (See first line.)

Is there something I may be doing wrong?
