Tried resetting defaults for audio tab, hell reset all defaults and not once have I gotten a decent audio stream from this supposedly pro audio enabled program. I guess I'll render it out in a different program and at least this year won't be a total waste with no projects completed because of continues errors in vegas, I doubt I'll be reinvesting anytime soon. Sure would be nice to get some use out of this software before I have to replace it if anyone can help. I see several complaints on this with no real answers online though. I could have bought a troubleshooting sim and had less issues, to make it worse 16 came out right after my purchase smh.

You have not a normal and a not adviced installation of the VMS 15 program that has no updates higher as yours.
I don't know if it will make any difference, but I see your installation is on your K:/ location.

Did you try also an installation on the adviced C:/ location, where also Windows likes to be?

I had it on C: but made no difference, I've subbed tickets about updates but still awaiting a response. I'm trying to reinstall now but so far that's also not helped. Not sure of the problem as I'm still with in my yr support. Appreciate the response, I'll let ya know how it turns out after this reinstall.

You can also try to reset the program if the installation of the program worked well and maybe you did some changes yourself.

Resetting you can do with hold Ctrl-Shift buttons on your keyboard while clicking the startpic on the desktop.
You shoud accept the possibility to delete all cashed data, that means the program resets itself to the first opening after it was installed.

Tried this b4 but not sure about deleting all cached data, I'll make sure to do that this time. At least I'm moving forward thanks.

Not getting that op. It seems to make no difference if I use this procedure there is no noticeable change or any prompts to let me delete all cached data.

@Kent-Brown

a guy's .mp3's from his iPod would always cut-off at the last 6 seconds on his Vegas . All of his iPod .mp3's did that . he sent me a few to test . same thing here with Vegas , MS13P , Music Studio 10 , all same results . However , ( Music Maker and Samplitude Music Studio ) both worked perfect .

Chalk this one up to user error, though I do think I have an install problem it seems unrelated. It ended up being a windows sound enhancement that I usually have off, like they all should be. While slightly embarrassing I'm super glad this is hashed out. I now have a great looking, great sounding video. J-V thanks for hanging in there with me, I'll keep on the install issue. fan-boy I'm not sure but when mixing down in daws they often add some data that can cause some strange problems. I doubt turning off enhancements will help but trying a different container like wav may be worth a shot. Hope it helps.

This is def a problem for me thanks for the input I'd not have caught it otherwise, I'll be looking into this.

This crops up frequently and there are posts about it. It's something to do with how Windows tiles and Start Menu operates. You need to be activating VMS from a desktop icon or a shortcut direct to the program folder "exe" file. Otherwise you won't get the option.

Nick's FAQ here refers. Whilst written for Vegas Pro it also applies to VMS.
