Hello-
I'm having an issue whereby the audio that was recorded with the video on my kodak zi8 isn't properly syncing with the video- there's a lag of over a second between the two, and I can't seem to do anything about it.. The files play fine in Windows Media Player and in Quicktime. I have been able to mitigate this problem somewhat by ungrouping the audio from the video and slip moving, however, with smaller clips especially it seems the leading edge of the video potion of the clips is missing altogether, so there's only so much I can do.
Using the synchronize command in the shortcut menu is ineffective, as it seems Vegas does not recognize that it's out of sync to begin with.
I had changed the file extensions from. MOV to .mp4 before downloading onto my computer from the SDHC card. Also, I have de-installed and reinstalled itunes and quicktime, taking them back to versions 8 and 7.62, respectively.
Any insight anyone has would be sincerely appreciated!
thanks.
