Audio Sync lost on SD render

I am using Sony VMS 10.
I have an intro brought into Vegas MS that is HD 720p
I have an SD Video of a lecture I gave that follows
On the timeline audio is synched with video with no issue.
When I render to either mp4 or WMV the intro in HD has Audio Sync but the SD video has lost audio-video sync.

I have looked online and on this forum but not figured out what the problem is.

Any advice is appreciated on this

What kind of camcorder was each shot with?

Rather than mixing these two very different formats, it might be wise to convert one to the other and then mix them.

How do you finally plan to output this movie? DVD? BluRay? Online?
