Just tried to complete my first project in the new version. The DVD has two files, one about 9 minutes long the other about 30. Both were editied in Vegas 6 and rendered to MPEG2 with the default NTSC DVD setting in Vegas. The files on the DVD3 timeline play fine but once the DVD is burned the audio and video are no longer in sync.
On the First attempt I had an 'in point' on the DVD time line that was not at the start of the file. After looking through the forum I notice others had a similar issue so I removed the in point and had the file start at the begiinning. Same result - everything plays fine until I burn the DVD. I moved everything to a second computer and different DVD burner (Both burners are Pioneer) Same result.
I went back to Vegas and rendered the projects as seperate streams using the default DVD Video stream for video and AC3 for audio. Same result. Everything is great on the time line but when I burn the DVD the audio and video are out of sync.
In frustration I went back to DVD2. Reauthored the project, using the orginal files, burned the DVD successfully.
I tried diferent computers, different burners, different files, the only the only common factor is DVD3. Is this a bug or am I overlooking something. It has been very frustrating!
Thanks
