I have only had VF for a couple of weeks, but I really like it. I'm getting to the stage of my first video where I would like to fix the sound up a bit, some compression and eq would be great. Ideally I would like to do it inside VF, but when I look at the sound effects they are nice but less useful things like flange and stutter.
However, when I look in my \Shared Plug-Ins\Audio\ directory, there are three files, the two expressfx files, but also sftrkfx1.dll. Looking at the help file in Shared Plug-Ins\Help Files\sftrkfx1.chm, this turns out to be sonic foundry track FX: compression, dither, parametric eq and noise gate, just what I need. Unfortunately I can't seem to get them to work in VF.
If they are part of VF, does anyone know how to get at them? If not, why is the file part of the install?
