I've been recording guitar in Vegas Pro 22 by setting a loop range in a song and capturing one section at a time. If I don't like a take, I just let it loop around and record again. When I bring the track into Sound Forge, I see that Vegas has kept all the takes in sequence, allowing me to choose and edit the parts I want. That's great!

However, does anyone know if there's a setting in loop recording where Vegas overwrites the previous take with each new pass—like recording to tape—so it doesn't retain earlier takes? Many thanks! --Carl
