I recently had to re-install windows 10 and therefore Vegas Pro 15 build 416. I've just started a new project but find that audio tracks will not mute or go solo. Video tracks work fine. On the audio tracks, if I press mute on the track header the audio volume decreases a little but does not mute even though the track colour changes as if it has muted. Does anyone have any ideas what could be the problem?

Can you post a screen shot of your timeline and track headers both muted and unmuted?

As I mentioned, I had started (actually nearly finished) a new project. With this in mind I decided to see if I could find a workaround so I could get the project finished.
I loaded another instance of Vegas (which luckily didn't present with the same problem) alongside the problem one (I must have inadvertantly set a switch or something somewhere in the problem version),.
I then did a copy & paste all the media from the problem version to the new version and everything is working fine in the new version.
