audio/video synch problem

I am a newbie user of Screenblast Movie Studio. I've done a couple of small projects without any problems, however in the editing phase of my current project, some (not all) of my video events have become off-set from their audio portion by about one second. I can't seem to be able to move the audio independently of the video to correct them.
I assume I inadvertently applied a setting that is preventing me from the simple fix of moving the audio to line up with the video.
Thanks in advance for suggestions!

to unlock your audio from the video, right click on the event/video - select 'group' - 'remove from'

Or toggle "Ignore Event Grouping"

I purchased the Vegas Movie Studio two weeks ago. I had the same problem with the audio/video sync in trying to make my first dvd. I was capturing with a USB. I never had problems with this using the ULEAD. It was suggested I use a fire wire. I bought one Saturday. It fixed my problem. Sony's Movie Studio works great! Good Luck.
