Audio Voice and Music Adjustments

I am looking for a way to play with the voice and music volumes. I put in an mp3 in the music section for intro music. I then want to decrease the volume of the music so the voice can be heard for some introductions of the movie. Once the intros are done, I want to increase the music again, and lower the voice. Any recommendations?

Right-click on the left panel for that audio track name and add a volume envelope ("Insert/Remove Envelope -> Volume V"). (There are lots of right-clicks for this program, including plugins and effects -- check them out!)

Once you have the envelope, you can then double-click nodes into place. Grab either the nodes or the envelope lines to adjust the volumes.

(This for Screenblast; not sure if this technique has been changed in Vegas Movie Studio.)

I used envelops for the first time. I works great. This is some killer software package. Now I am getting the hang. I can't believe I used Ulead for so long.
