Audio Volume Adjustments?

Hello All:
On older versions of Vegas as well as the good old CD Architect, I was able to split sections of the wav file and then adjust the split selection up or down in volume. It seems with VV3, I can only adjust the envelope down from 0. Sometimes I need to bring it up beyond the 0 mark. Am I missing something?

You could adjust the track volume up, say +6dB in the track header, then lower the volume of the clips in the track to -6dB. This would give you a space of 6dB to raise individual sections.
