Audiomedia III without Pro Tools in XP

Hello
I want to run my audiomedia III card that i bought for 150kr (~12$). I didn't buy anything more than the card.

Is it posible to use the card win windows xp without buying pro tools?

I think,,,,,,,, you have to have the PTLE 5.3.1 software installed.
Its $50 from the Digi web page and you are so close now to the release of PTLE 6.1 you will get the update for free. 6.1 will let you install ASIO and Wavedrivers at the same time. Vegas runs fine on Audio Media III w/ASIO a few of us here have it on our home systems.
