Audo CD Burn Errors via V4

Has anyone run into this?

If we DO test then burn ... burn fails at all speeds.
If we DO NOT test then burn ... it will burn successfully at random.

Some of the errors we receive are:

Disc may be dirty.
Tracking error.
Hardware error.

Note. This Dell runs Windows XP and always burned successfully with Vegas 3.0.
