authentication code is invalid

Im really irritated now. I bought the software like 6 months ago but it wont activate. I have registered it, got the authentication code. When I enter it, the authentication code window just says it is invalid. I cant reach a human being at sony.

I registered this 6 months ago. during the install the install corrupted my registry so my computer would not reboot. It is now 6 months later and I have had some time to reinstall the whole system. Now I cant activate the software.

The machine ID matches the one in my account, the serial number is correct and I copy pasted the auth code from the email into the window

This is so frustrating that copy protection prevents legitimate users from actually using the software. Ive been trying to get this to work for a week now.

just wanted to give an update. The first two extensions (lost serial # and registration help didnt connect me to people). I went ahead and selected option 2 which got me to someone right away. He identified that I had two letters switched in my serial # and walked me through how to delete the registry entry. After that it worked fine. Thanks sony cust support!
