I am using MC encoder to render 1 hr. 15 minute mpeg2 NTSC DV with default settings.
Mpeg2 plays fine in media player. Problem occurs when intro plays. Intro is a video sequence which begins with the first 5 notes on a black screen, then as downbeat begins the video sequence starts. Plays fine on timeline as AVI, plays fine as Mpeg2 in Media player, but when authored and burned the DVD contains a momentary hesitation in the audio as the black screen changes to the first video frame in the video sequence. DVD Movie Factory is the authoring program.
