Auto Envel Contrast Changes - please?

I'd like to have Velo Envels change to the underlying colour for contrast and therefore ease of viewing against "matching" colours. Yes I know I can change colours (?) .. but autio update would be neat? - G

Did you mean to say you like to have Velocity Envelopes change automatically to a color that contrast with the background?

I think that might get a tad confusing if you had more than one envelope, you'd end up with several multicolored 'snakes' along the timeline plus I'd imagine it'd be a fair amount of calculation involved every time the T/L was redrawn.

I do have one, have a seperate 'track' that's a child of the track to hold the envelopes, kind of like the track keyframe subtrack. Make it collapsible also. I'd also like to see everything controlled by envelopes rather than keyframes. I know that's a dramatic shift in how things work but I can see two advantages.
1) EVERYTHING could be automated.
2) You'd get visual indication of what's happening between keyframes (I know, if it's an envelope then they're 'nodes') just as we do for volume and composite level envelopes.
