Auto-Notify Issue

I just installed the Build 428 update on a Win8.1 system. On first launch of the application, I got an auto-notify message, "An update to Vegas Pro software is now available. Version 13.0.428 includes numerous fixes and improvements."

This has happened on the licensed install and a trial version at work where we were doing some testing with Vegas Pro 13 (Windows 10). On of the testers mistakenly went through the update, and invalidated the trial version having to reinstall the OS to resume the test.

On Windows 7, I don't recall seeing the issue. Upgraded a while ago, and pretty sure I didn't see the issue.

I got this same message ("An update to Vegas Pro software is now available. Version 13.0.428 includes numerous fixes and improvements.") - AFTER updating to 428 from the previous version. This happened only when launching the new build for the first time. I'm on WIN7 Ultimate N 64-bit. Latest MS updates loaded before updating VP.

This is a small (new) glitch, a little annoying if not anthing else. It just proves that testing new releases under different circumstances and combinations is not very thorough at SCS...

cheers,

Christian

PS: It has been interestingly quiet around th b428 release. Is everything running so smoothly or...? There is still a long list of repeatable bugs awaiting a fix. Please SCS, don't drop your tools... keep the updates coming.

Build 428 should pass into the night - it was a ho-hum fix for some very few things. And generally unless you fall in that ravine, it is not what you want.

AND Indeed, there are a stunning list of fixes that are needed and not accomodated yet.

My impression is that 428 was an update to accommodate the release of Hitfilm 3 which is also part of the Suite upgrade that SCS offers..... Just a WAG.

I got it once after updating, then never again subsequently.
