automatic crossfade of photos

HI, it's been awhile since i have worked with this program. I have been tasked to put together a slideshow for my brother in law who just lost his wife to cancer. I'm looking at making about an hour slideshow of photos and I was wondering if there is a quick way to apply crossfade to the photos instead of having to drag each one? Can I add 100 photos and have them automatically crossfaded?

Thanks for any info you can provide.

In preferences>editing place a check in the box automatically overlap multiple added media Then control select all the stills you want on the time line and drag them to the time line. You should get the stills at the duration you have set up in preferences and overlapped which will create auto crossfades. Should take about 30 seconds.

You're more than welcome. And my condolences on the loss of your sister(?). My wife has ovarian cancer and has just finished chemotherapy. I know the travails that you are going through.
