Automatically go from one movie to the next?

Apologies in advance if this has been asked before, but...here goes:

In MyDVD, when you import multiple movie files and then put them on a menu, it's possible to automatically have the DVD go from one movie to the next when you play it back. For example, let's say I have three individual movie files, each one with a link on the main menu. I start Movie1, and when it finishes, it automatically moves onto Movie2, and then on to Movie3.

How do I do this in DVD Architect? Is it possible?

Not to go into very deep detailed description and great deal of technicality, and not to confuse you with many possible ways of doing it, the answer would be: No. Search this forum for "End Action"
It's been discussed so many times, everyone just tired of it.

Yes, you can create an CD collection of videos. No you can't put links on the main menu to the different chapters or even have a scene selection, but yes, you can move back and forth form chapters on the movie.

While you can't do it the "right" way, you can do it the "wrong" way.

Return to Vegas. Start a new project. Drop all the movies you want on the DVD onto the timeline one after the other with no gaps. Render as MPEG-2 again using the default NTSC or PAL template. Once rendered, open in DVD-A. See my tutorial on how to use the menu creation menu.

The result will be your first chapter will play start to finish the whole project or your entire collection of movies. You can add as many chapters as you wish. Each thumbnail will play from that starting point to the end. For sure clumsy and not exactly what you want, but at lease something pretty close... and it don't look half bad.

There is a disadvantage to doing what you want. When clips are totally "separated", you will find that the clips will pause/freeze as the DVD head moves to the next position.

When I first started making DVD's, I did use MYDVD the way you are mentioning, and I did notice the problem I've just mentioned above.

If you as Billyboy suggests, I feel the end result is much cleaner and better.

I do understand, however, that there are times that I would like to have a certain video clip play after one has finished. But, as you may know, DVDA hasn't got the feature to control that yet. Hopefully, next version.

Thanks anyway, crazedrussian (is that a drink?)! I will try BillyBoy's technique, in the long run it's probably better to create a single, large movie file, rather than multiple smaller ones for reasons cited below.
