AVCHD into Vegas 7?

I shot some footage with the new Sony HDR-UX1 a week ago,

and am still trying to figure out how to get its resultant AVCHD-based .mt2s files into Vegas 7-- or anything for that matter.

Any leads on how to edit these?

Use the reader disc that came with the camcorder to convert for the time being.
