AVI audio help needed

Hi I have a mess of AVI files that play fine under WMP, but in vegas they show no audio stream. If I burn these to cd using nero cd iso, there also is no audio.

What can I do?

well - what kind of audio are they ?

i am betting $$$ that they are ac3 files .....

virtual dub mod says they are v2

virtual dub says I need to install windows audio codec, and I did, no luck

they play fine in wmp

Do you mean m2v which is Mpeg 2?
