AVI codecs (only DV and uncompressed???)

so I want to output to an AVI file. I have plenty of video codecs on my system such as the Techsmith (Camtasia) one.
Only Vegas 5 will only give me the option of Uncompressed, various DV types and wmv.

I want to use AVI as a wrapper and use one of the other codecs. Is this really impossible in VEGAS 5??

you can use a multitude of the avi codecs in vegas ...

huffyuv is a popular one ...

After you select AVI, select Custom > Video > Video Format.
Then you'll see all the codecs on your system.
