.AVI file always has a moment of black at the end

Hello all! I'm a relatively new user to VideoFactory, but have been able to solve some of my previous issues
after reading the forum and generally playing around until I've figured it out. Well, now I've given up so I'm
asking for help.

I've only been able to capture video using the ATI All-in-Wonder capturing system...I can't seem to get the
VideoFactory Capture program to play sound or record...but that's not my issue. Anyway, I successfully capture
several .AVI files using the All-in-Wonder and when I play the files back using Media Player, they all look great.

Then, I go into VideoFactory to edit them together and after I place the (lets say 4) .AVI files in the VIDEO section
and preview the movie, each individual cut at the end has roughly 3/4 of a second of black.

Why does this happen? Do I have to go into the trimmer and find where this is and "trim" for ALL of my .AVI
files?
