AVI file size 2 large

Help please - have movie which I rendered as WVI and it was not good quality (each still picture starts out choppy then focuses, plus, it can't be viewed any larger than the little Windows Media File player window.) Re-rendered as AVI with NTSC DV wide or whatever, and the quality for full screen was much better (no choppiness) BUT, the file size is unworkable. The WVI file size was 3MB, the AVI size is 1.99 GB....need to be able to burn this to cd. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. All still pictures with transitions. Thanks.

Marys,
Try rendering using the MPEG-2 template. You'll get good quality and it should fit onto a VCD. However, your player will need to be able to play the file. Search this forum for more info on that. Use the key words MPEG-2 or SVCD. Hope this helps.

You can get lots of info about VCD, including DVD player compatibility, from http://www.vcdhelp.com
