AVI Problems

Hi all,

I'm trying to import some avi files into Vegas from an old app that I was playing around with a while back, I think it was a Ulead program.

If I can get the avi file imported at all, it only brings in the audio and no video. I can play the video in Windows media play, but not in Vegas. I also noticed that when I go to load in any of these files, when I click on the file name, Vegas says something to the effect of "Stream attributes can not be ??".

Any help appreciated!!!

ulead had tsrange avi codec.If you have movie maker v2.0 try to open and save as avi again.Movie maker comes with XP.

Hi Rebel,

Thanks for the info! I just found out about a Morgan codec and downloaded it. It seems to work on my office computer now with that codec installed. I am on my way to the studio computer to install it there. I think this will solve the problem. :-)
