I have this Faderport 8 Control Surface from Presonus - I luv it!:

However, there is a sequence to connect it to VP19. I can live with that. What I can't live with is that I need to reset the Preferences for it each and every time I start VP19. It's truly annoying.

Here's the process I need to do:

Preferences > "External Control & Automation":

I change to PreSonus FP8, here:

And accept. However, after reopening VP19 I get this again:

I just can't make this selection "stick".

Any thoughts Chums?
