Well after I did the defrag, and so on, it has gotten better, but what I also thought was to look at the start-up on MSCONFIG, about the amount and crude that was being loaded on start-Up.
I had stuff that was redundant - now gone!
I had stuff that I really didn't need TILL I needed it - now gone!
I ALSO had 2 particular start-up things without any reference? BIG GONE!
I also had a set of Acronis stuff that I've removed and I can re-invent when needed.
OK, now when I am developing an idea in Vegas, I can see the PF number hover around the 850mb, and when I scrub the timeline I get a 20mb variation/fluctuation.
So, I'll keep an eye on this.
My "Processes" are now neat, trim and slimmed down. I have ALSO temporarily disabled my Virus s/w which, as I am not on the web with my Vegas machine, it can get busy when I DO go on the Internet.
Anyways, holding thumbs and what-nots. But at present this is looking good.
Grazie
