Background Audio Question

I have a short 30 second video for my background media. I have it set to loop after the 30 seconds. After inserting an audio file to play along with it, I have found that because my audio file is 1 minute, it will not loop after 30 seconds, the video will go black while the audio is finishing playing. How do you shorten the audio to 30 seconds like the video. Thanks.

Easy: Trim the audio file in Vegas.

Thanks, I just thought Architect might have a way to do it.

DVDA is not an editor.

On the timeline, you should be able to either drag the grey area to the right to match the video length, or type in the exact length that you want it to play. Having said that, I'd go along with Steve and create an audio file the length you want it, in Vegas with a nice fade out at the end.

Or, create a video file with the menu background playing twice for the entire minute. That way the whole audio file can be used without having to chop it off.
