HI there!! I am a female newbie who has learned a lot from you guys already, and I truly admire your knowledge. I recieved a Sony mini DV cam for x-mas along with vegas movie studio and DVD. I had no idea that the manual was not in lamen's terms, but I have figured a lot out, (thanks to this forum). I have already burned 6 DVD's ( transferring from old 8mm ).
Anyway what I would like to do is have a brief movie clip playing in the background in the main menu, along with some buttons for scene selection. Is this possible, and could you give me step by step advice...anyone. It sure would be appreciated. Thanks...

I don't know if Movie Studio comes with a FULL version of DVD Architect.

If it does...

From the default menu page, right click and then select insert media. This movie will starting playing in the background. If you want to have thumbnails leading to other movies drag them to the menu page. If you don't click, your background movie will continue to play. Once you click the thumbnail linked video will play. There's another option, forget, someone else will have to fill in when a introduction vid can be set to play then it exits and then a menu appears.
