Most of my video projects are around 10->30GB of RAW AVI files- those captured by Vegas from my Sony DV Cam and used in Vegas 5 to create a resulting edited video.
My question is....I want to keep the RAW AVI files because I might need to re-edit an edited video. I tried simply deleting the original AVIs from one project and then recapturing them using the exact same setup and ended up with more AVIs than originally and thus my VEG files needed re-doing....a real SH|T of a job. Found that Vegas didn't "see" the scene change in one of my DV scenes on the CAM and thus one of the captured AVIs was a combination of two scenes.
So how do I backup the RAW files, considering that some are 8-12GB and some projects have as many as 80 AVIs?
