i have just recorded some songs and have them on cd. i want to free up my hard drive and i want to back up my songs and if possible each track that later on i may want to do a remix. i have vegas audio 2.0 any suggestions would be helpfull. thanks darren
You can simply copy the individual track's .wav files and the project .veg
file to a data CD for safe keeping. Keep in mind though that you only
have 650MB on a disc. If your project has 8 stereo tracks recorded at 24
bit, you'll only be able to store a 6 minute song on one disc.
When you want to open up your project again later on, just copy all the
.wav files and the .veg file back to your hard drive, preferably to the
same directory you backed them up from, and open up the .veg file.
