I Hope someone can give me some advice...or help.
I recently upgraded...actually replaced...my Vegas Pro
(1.0) with Vegas Video (2.0). I mainly did this because
Vegas 2.0 has the ability to "Lock Envelopes to Events",
which I think is the BEST feature they added.
But now...I'm having some problems. I use Vegas to mix
entire CDs (in WAV files). Not for video editing or such.
So now when I play back my mixes, the songs
start "jumping", or "pausing" during play back. It sounds
like my hard drive is not reading the WAV files fast
enough, and the computer stops to wait for it to catch up.
It only does this when it comes to a point where there are
2 or more tracks overlapping.
It was not having this problem with Vegas 1.0. In fact, I
even remember at one point I had 4 tracks (wav files)
overlapping and it played them just fine...
I'm guessing that maybe it's because I replaced Vegas Pro
with Vegas VIDEO 2.0...??? Does Vegas Video 2.0 not work
well with mixing WAV files, like Vegas AUDIO does?
I thought they were the same thing, except Vegas Video had
the ability to add more than one VIDEO TRACK.
Can anyone give me some advice.....thanks!
