I applied a Magic Bullet "Artistic" effect, and then tried a simple Black and White effect on a clip and I'm getting a noticeable "banding" effect.

It doesn't seem to be present in the video before applying any effects. I exported a snapshot of the unedited frame and converted that to B/W and the banding was not evident.

If I apply the Magic Bullet "Bistro" effect, I don't get the banding.

I really want to go B/W with this clip I'm working on, but the banding issue is making it impossible. Anyone been down this road before?
