Basic Audio Question

Thanks in advance for any help.

I rendered several clips in VV4 for a DVD project in DVDA. I selected the DVDA Video template in VV4 and then just checked "Include Audio" on the audio tab. When I made the DVD, DVDA re-rendered all the audio from the clips. Is there an audio setting I can use in VV4 so that DVDA doesn't have to re-render anything?

Thanks again.

You gave it MPEG2 audio and it rendered it to AC-3 audio. To prevent this rendering from happening, after rendering the MPEG file also render an AC3 file and tell DVDA to use this AC3 file for the audio instead of the MPEG file.

First timer tonight. I'm having all kinds of problems burning my first DVD, but this looks like a place to start asking questions. How do you tell DVDA to use a different audio file? How do you get it in the menu? None of this seems to be addressed in the manual. Thanks for a step by step instruction on this matter.

Drag the clip to the menu and then double-click the link. When the video opens on the timeline, look on the right-hand side of the screen and you should see two text boxes - one for video and one for audio. Drag the AC3 audio file to the audio text box and you are done.
