Batch-loading photos into timeline

I know there is a way to do this, but I couldn'f figure it out. I scanned 160 photos into the media pool in order and set to 7 seconds with a dissolve between each one. But I couldn't figure out how to get them on the timeline in one fell swoop. I tried highlighting them and using the copy button, but it didn't work. I know there's probably an easy way to do this.

BTW, I have done projects like this on the Trinity Play and the Applied-Magic ScreenPLay and VV3 beats them all. I'm just blown away by it.

Have you tried Explorer? Just open Explorer (in Vegas), mark the photos and click-drag them to the timeline. I've done this with 65 photos - don't know about 160.

You should also check shredders tips on photomontage in Vegas:

You mean you were able to drop 65 photos in all at one time with one click after selecting them? That's that type of thing I'm looking for.

Open Vegas, Go to Opt/Pref/Editing set your time & fade.

Go to VV3 Explorer, open the folder with the pics, Ctrl+A and drag to the timeline.

That is it.
