If the video is called "WTF", what is difficult so that when batch rendering the final file also has the name "WTF"????????

@dno-probito Which professional software does this? It's common for render names to default to project names. In your opinion, what if I import a lot of files? What if I don't import any files at all? Software developers don't always design software the way you want it, and you need to get used to it.

Batch Render is a separate script that you can modify slightly to suit your needs. However, this is all based on your willingness to explore, rather than being rude and passive in making your request. "I wonder how to do" is better than "I want you to do".

It's a stupid position. The program is paid. You buy a car, but they tell you that some parts will need to be finalized. WTF? This is the simplest script compared to AI, which will not be difficult for developers to add to the program. They can even see how others have done it.

@dno-probito What you need to know is that this is a user forum and no one is charging you, so no one is obligated to help you. Go talk to the Vegas developers. The money's in their pockets.

If you don't change your attitude, eventually you'll find that no one cares about your needs. Don't believe me? We'll see.

When will the normal batch rendering be done? You are implementing AI, but for more than 10 years vegas has not been able to pull up the names of the end files. If the video is called "WTF", what is difficult so that when batch rendering the final file also has the name "WTF"????????

@dno-probito, go to File - Render As and it will render to the same name as the project name automatically.

Batch render is for rendering multiple items at once (such as all regions into separate files) and all of those regions can't have the same name as the project name.

Batch rendering can also be done for multiple project but that's an entirely different task.

See the six part series here which shows the basics of rendering:

This tutorial shows how to open multiple files. Combine that with the six tutorials above and you can create a script that will load multiple projects and render them to whatever filenames you want.

And you can always modify the existing batch program to work the way you want. And if you search for Batch Rendering on the forum, you'll find other options written by other people as well.

Why should the name of the end-file be relevant? One can define in the render dialog every name and location desired - so what is the point here?

Beside the provocative wording WTF? Avoid that please.
