Batch Render Quandary

It's been a while since I used the Vegas Batch Render. It's got me stumped!

I have 11 x 1 hour programs on a single timeline. Each contains markers for chapters. Each program is marked as a region.

So, (11) 1 hour regions, with markers, single timeline.

I want to render each region VBR at close to the highest bit rate allowable (8216 Max, 4696 Avg, 2816 Min) for burning to a two hour DVD (2 programs per disc), plus accompanying Ac3 files.

Using the Vegas Batch Render, how do I set VBR bit rates?

Go into the normal render window first and create an MPEG2 custom template for your render settings. Save it with a handy name. Cancel out of the render window. Now when you go to batch render you'll see that template name under the list of MPEG2 choices.
