batch rendering projects.

I have just edited together several different multi-camera videos from the concert. Actually, I did most of the work on the trial version of Vegas pro before acquiring the real thing. But now I just want to render all of these projects using the real version. But basically, I seem to have to wait half an hour between each job (and can't do much in the meantime as the programme effectively uses all my computer power) and can't set them all to render while I'm away. Is there no way to set up a script to render several different projects one after the other while I'm off out?

If you have fair amount of ram, you can open each vegas file each in its own window of vegas. Much like having more than one word document open. Then just start each one rendering, and walk away. Setting the vegas process in task manager to below or low, will help maintain control over your loaded computer. You can also use this method of rendering in the background while you edit. Opening each vegas window as administrator will get you multiple windows. Keep an eye on your C: drive utilization, if it is at 100% while doing multiple renders, then you are swapping and you need to back off an instance of vegas.

The Vast utility works, there is also a free vegas script that renders "regions" set in the timeline as separate files. So making a new time with all the regions you want to render would work too.
