I have some m2t files shot with Canon HV20 with 24ppulldown that were converted to QTs using CineForm (with pulldown removal). My editor (working on FCP) tells me that the CineForm codec doesn't work on Macs unless on Intel based machines, so i have to render the whole folder of QTs into something compliant with his machine.

A.) how do i do it?
B.) what's the best codec for it?

a) Use the Multirenderer in Veggie Toolkit from Peachrock. You can tell it to take all the files in one folder and using Vegas render them to another folder using a template you've defined previously.

b) Sorry no QT guru myself.

Just downloaded the demo for Vegas 5 and damn it's bit tad hard to figure out. How do i specify the folder for the render? It looks like it want to know the VEG file but do i drop all the QTs i wan to render on the timeline or just import those files into media pool???
