Have you watch the BBC World Service Logo, it is orange and red and it is like a 3d effect. Any ideas to create something like that?

In my opinion, it is a very professionally produced 3D Log, and I think very effective.

It would require a reasonably advanced 3D application such as 3D Studio Max, Lightwave or Maya to reproduce to reproduce the high resolution.

These applications are fairly expensive to purchase (I have 3D Studio Max 7.0 which costs about Aus$ 5,500.00 without plugins) )

Just use Lightwave 8. They're so far one of the best bang for your buck. Got a lota stuff out of the box and there's a lot of free plugins available.
