I just did a test where I took a QuickTime clip (MJPEG) 720P @ 32 mb rate and a 1080 20mb rate and used UpRes on the 720P (both files from an Olympus EP5) and to my eye it looked significantly better than the 1080P when both were rendered at 25mb blue ray.

Anyone else tested this? I'm pretty impressed.
