In timestretching, you always hear either phasing, flanging or delay
artifacts.

This is a natural artifact of time stretching, as you need to fill
the extra space with something. You could try another time stretch
plugin (or do it destructively in e.g. Sound Forge) and then
experiment with different chunk lengths.

Timestretching still isn't very reliable, though. I mostly use it to
create weird effects, or on tracks where the artifacts won't be heard.
